Seminole Hard Rock in Tampa, Florida recently expanded and added more gaming options. The new casino section at the Hard Rock is more than 33,000 square feet. The new casino area has 880 slot machines and 19 blackjack tables. There’s also a new L Bar that offers handcrafted cocktails and a specialized menu of premium tequilas and mezcals.

The expansion is located between the two hotel towers at the Hard Rock. This new bar and casino adds more games as well as more entertainment. L Bar has a stage that is now home to a rotating roster of live music and entertainment from Fridays to Sundays.
Playing Blackjack In Florida
There are 400 casinos, racinos (race track/casino), and card rooms in Florida. However, you can only play live blackjack with a dealer at casinos operated by the Seminole tribe. The other venues may offer electronic blackjack games.

- The dealer usually stays on soft 17, but some games they hit.
- Players may double down on 8, 9, 10, and 11 only in double deck pitch games.
The blackjack rules in Florida may not be the best in the US but they aren’t bad. The Seminole Tribe could offer worse blackjack games with bad rules since they have a monopoly on the game in Florida.
More Gambling At Seminole Hard Rock Tampa
The new 33,000 square foot expansion is just a small part of the Hard Rock Tampa. In total, the casino is 190,000 square feet large. This is the sixth largest casino floor in the world. In addition to traditional blackjack, the Hard Rock offers Blackjack Switch, Double Exposure Blackjack and 15 different table games.
The recent Smoke-Free casino expansion has entrances from the outside so you never have to breathe any smoke. In addition to five more live blackjack games, this area has 800 slot machines.
The Hard Rock is more than just table games. There are more than 4,000 slot machines located in various locations throughout the casino. Slot players can play in the L Bar and Smoke-Free expansions. There’s also a Spinferno slot room on the mezzanine level. High rollers can enjoy the privacy of the VIP slot room or High Limits slot room.
There’s a 46 table poker room at the Hard Rock as well. The room offers complimentary wifi and has 46 TV’s so you never miss anything happening outside of the casino.
